Giá dầu nhích lên trên 35 USD
 

Kết thúc phiên giao dịch tại châu Á hôm qua 19/2, giá dầu thô đã tăng nhẹ lên trên 35 USD/thùng dù FED đánh giá kinh tế Mỹ sẽ tiếp tục lún sâu vào khủng hoảng.


Tại Singapore chiều qua, giá dầu thô giao tháng 3/2009 tăng 54 cent lên 35,18 USD/thùng trên phiên giao dịch New York Mercantile Exchange.

Trước đó, ngày 18/2 tại Mỹ, giá dầu đã giảm 31 cent còn 34,62 USD/thùng. Song khi mở cửa giao dịch hôm qua (tức tối qua theo giờ Việt Nam), giá dầu thô tiếp tục xu hướng tăng như tại thị trường châu Á (tính đến 19g đã tăng lên 36,10 USD).

Trong khi đó hợp đồng giao tháng 3/2009 hết hạn vào thứ sáu tăng 62 cent lên 38,03 USD/thùng, bởi các nhà giao dịch đang chuyển tập trung sang hợp đồng giao tháng 4/2009.

FED đã xác nhận thông tin được nhiều nhà đầu tư đánh giá, đó là kinh tế Mỹ sẽ tiếp tục tồi tệ hơn trong năm nay. Theo dự báo mới, tỷ lệ thất nghiệp sẽ tăng từ 8,5% đến 8,8% trong năm 2009. Dự báo cũ đưa ra giữa tháng 11/2008, tỷ lệ thất nghiệp sẽ chỉ tăng lên trong khoảng 7,1% đến 7,6%.

Hôm qua Bộ Thương mại Mỹ thông báo số lượng xây dựng nhà và căn hộ mới của Mỹ giảm 16,8% trong tháng 1/2009 so với tháng trước đó, chỉ ở mức thấp kỷ kục 466.000 căn hộ.

"Dữ liệu này càng khẳng định rằng cuộc khủng hoảng tồi tệ hơn chúng ta nghĩ", Christoffer Moltke-Leth người đứng dầu giao dịch trên Saxo Capital Markets tại Singapore đánh giá.

Chuyên gia Moltke-Leth còn nhận định giá dầu "có thể sẽ giảm xuống còn 32 USD/thùng", mức thấp trong 10 năm qua trước khi OPEC có cuộc họp vào giữa tháng tới.

Bên cạnh đó, nhà đầu tư tiếp tục hoài nghi về gói kích thích 787 tỷ USD vừa được Tổng thống Barack Obama ký khó có thể mang lại sự hồi phục nhanh. Nhà Trắng cũng vừa chi 75 tỷ USD để giúp đỡ hàng triệu người Mỹ tránh bị mất nhà.

Còn trên Nymex, giá xăng tăng 0,83 cent lên 1,07 USD/gallon, còn giá gas tự nhiên giao tháng 3/2009 tăng 3,0 cent lên 4,24 USD/thùng 1.000 feet.
